About John 1:1 Ministry
John 1:1 Ministry is an independent non-denominational ministry, a non-profit faith based organization. We are not registered as a 501c3 organization. Our founding fathers of our nation saw the importance of faith based organizations in setting the moral and religious standards for our nation, and they protected it under the First Amendment. Our authority comes from God alone.
We are primarily an online ministry. This allows us to reach out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. We also serve our local community as well as people in need all over the United States and around the globe. We will go where ever there is a need that God calls us to serve.
John 1:1 Ministry and all who call themselves Christian have been given a great calling in
Matthew 28: 18 - 20 "18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We are also called to His service to be servants.
Matthew 20:"28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Galations 5:13"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
OUR FAITH

ONE GOD
There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons (John 14:7–16; Genesis 1:1; 1:26–27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28–29; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S SON
Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will literally return to earth (Matthew 1:22–23; Isaiah 9:6; 53:5–6; John 1:1–5; 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Timothy 6:14–15; Titus 2:13).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7–13; 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25; Galatians 5:25).
THE BIBLE
The Bible is God’s Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:16).
CREATED MAN’S NEED FOR GOD
Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3–6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1–2; Romans 3:23).
SALVATION
Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1).
BAPTISM
Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ’s command (Matthew 3:15–17; Acts 2:38)
.
BELIEVER’S ACCESS TO GOD
Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16; 7:19; Ephesians 3:12).
THE CHURCH
The Church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:27–29; 1 Corinthians 12:27–29; Ephesians 1:21–23; 3:20–22; 4:1–3; 5:21–27; Colossians 1:17–19).

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us for His purpose, to grow the Kingdom of God that He may be Glorified.
LEADERSHIP

Minister Teresa W Taylor
Minister Teresa Taylor is ordained and in good standing through Christian Global Outreach Ministries (Minister #104546 Conferred). Teresa has known the Lord Jesus Christ all of her life. When she was just a few months old while in her Grandmother's arms, she pointed to a painting and said "Jesus". She was raised attending Brentwood Baptist Church, in High Point. She attended many other denominational churches including Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Church of God and more, but considers Shiloh Baptist Church in Ramseur, NC her home.
On August 2, 1987, at the age of 14, at Caraway Baptist Church in Sophia, North Carolina, Teresa adopted Jesus Christ as her Savior . In January 2021, God told her to get her house in order. Then on February 19, 2021, while witnessing how she had been taught about Jesus from her earliest memories as a child, God interrupted her and firmly told her "No one taught you, I CALLED YOU!" After working on her for 9 months, God showed her that He had called her to ministry. She struggled with His calling because she had been taught that women were not called to be ministers. God showed her how Mary Magdelene, a woman, was the first He chose to preach the full Gospel of His resurrection, when He told her to 'go and tell' in John 20:17. God showed her how she had already been His servant through all of her years, reminding her and bringing to light how she had started and led Bible studies and prayer groups. He brought to light memories of how she had ministered to ministers through biblical counsel, encouragement and prayer. He showed her an old letter that had been lost and forgotten for many years, from a pastor, thanking her for the impact she had on His ministry and family, reaching all the way to a Church in India. He also brought to light how she had been faithful to Him in serving Israel's Temple Mount Faithful Movement, but also how she had served locally providing Bibles to those who didn't have one., and reminding her of the many He sent to her for help. She faithfully accepted her call to ministry on November 2, 2021. God led her to create John 1:1 Ministry because He said that is where His ministry began. He led her to create the ministry online to fulfill his calling of Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations". She began working on the website November 17th, 2021, launching it December 1, 2021 as www.John1OneMinistry.com.
With a servants heart Teresa has devoted her life to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and serving others. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Sciences and served as a deputy sheriff for 17 years. God gave her the Husband perfect for her, when He joined her in marriage to her husband Chad Taylor. Chad has been a source of strength, support, encouragement and help in their home, life and her ministry. They have five children; Crystal ~age 31 (3 granddaughters ~ Alexis, Hailey and Payton), Andrea ~age 21 (son-in-law Darrell Kidd), Joshua ~ age 19, David ~ age 14, and their angel baby Joseph (he died in the womb at 3 months from Trisomy 18). They also have unofficially adopted two sons, Darius and Jeffery. As a family they enjoy gardening, camping, fishing and geocaching.
