About John 1:1 Ministry

John 1:1 Ministry is an independent non-denominational ministry, a non-profit faith based organization. We are not registered as a 501c3 organization. Our founding fathers of our nation saw the importance of faith based organizations in setting the moral and religious standards for our nation, and they protected it under the First Amendment. Our authority comes from God alone.

We are primarily an online ministry. This allows us to reach out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. We also serve our local community as well as people in need all over the United States and around the globe. We will go where ever there is a need that God calls us to serve.

John 1:1 Ministry and all who call themselves Christian have been given a great calling in
Matthew 28: 18 - 20 "18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are also called to His service to be servants.

Matthew 20:"28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Galations 5:13"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

OUR FAITH

ONE GOD

There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons (John 14:7–16; Genesis 1:1; 1:26–27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28–29; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S SON

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will literally return to earth (Matthew 1:22–23; Isaiah 9:6; 53:5–6; John 1:1–5; 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Timothy 6:14–15; Titus 2:13).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7–13; 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25; Galatians 5:25).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:16).

CREATED MAN’S NEED FOR GOD

Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3–6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1–2; Romans 3:23).

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1).

BAPTISM

Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ’s command (Matthew 3:15–17; Acts 2:38)

BELIEVER’S ACCESS TO GOD

Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16; 7:19; Ephesians 3:12).

THE CHURCH

The Church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:27–29; 1 Corinthians 12:27–29; Ephesians 1:21–23; 3:20–22; 4:1–3; 5:21–27; Colossians 1:17–19).

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us for His purpose, to grow the Kingdom of God that He may be Glorified.

LEADERSHIP

Minister Teresa W Taylor

Minister Teresa Taylor is georden en in goeie naam deur Christian Global Outreach Ministries (Minister #104546 Toegeken). Teresa ken die Here Jesus Christus haar hele lewe lank. Toe sy net 'n paar maande oud was terwyl sy in haar Ouma se arms was, het sy na 'n skildery gewys en "Jesus" gesê. Sy is grootgemaak in die Brentwood Baptist Church, in High Point. Sy het baie ander denominasionele kerke bygewoon, insluitend Katolieke, Baptiste, Metodiste, Church of God en meer, maar beskou Shiloh Baptist Church in Ramseur, NC as haar tuiste.

Teresa het Jesus Christus op 2 Augustus 1987 as haar Verlosser aangeneem. In Januarie 2021 het God vir haar gesê om haar huis in orde te kry. Toe op 19 Februarie 2021, terwyl sy aanskou het hoe sy van haar vroegste herinneringe as kind van Jesus af geleer is, val God haar in die rede en sê ferm vir haar "Niemand het jou geleer nie, EK HET JOU GENOEM!" Nadat hy vir 9 maande aan haar gewerk het, het God vir haar gewys dat Hy haar geroep het tot die bediening. Sy het met Sy roeping gesukkel omdat sy geleer is dat vroue nie geroep is om predikante te wees nie. God het vir haar gewys hoe Maria Magdelena, 'n vrou, die eerste was wat Hy gekies het om die volle Evangelie van Sy opstanding te verkondig, toe Hy in Johannes 20:17 vir haar gesê het om te 'gaan vertel'. God het haar gewys hoe sy reeds Sy dienaar was deur al haar jare, haar herinner en aan die lig gebring hoe sy Bybelstudies en gebedsgroepe begin en gelei het. Hy het herinneringe aan die lig gebring van hoe sy predikante bedien het deur Bybelse raad, bemoediging en gebed. Hy het vir haar 'n ou brief gewys wat vir baie jare verlore en vergete was, van 'n pastoor, wat haar bedank vir die impak wat sy op Sy bediening en familie gehad het, en bereik tot by 'n Kerk in Indië. Hy het ook aan die lig gebring hoe sy getrou aan Hom was in die diens van Israel se Tempelberg Getroue Beweging, maar ook hoe sy plaaslik gedien het om Bybels te verskaf aan diegene wat nie een gehad het nie., en haar te herinner aan die vele wat Hy na haar gestuur het vir help. Sy het op 2 November 2021 haar beroep tot bediening getrou aanvaar. God het haar gelei om Johannes 1:1 Bediening te skep omdat Hy gesê het dit is waar Sy bediening begin het. Hy het haar gelei om die bediening aanlyn te skep om sy roeping van Matteus 28:19-20 te vervul "Gaan dan heen en maak dissipels van al die nasies". Sy het op 17 November 2021 aan die webwerf begin werk en dit op 1 Desember 2021 as www.John1OneMinistry.com bekendgestel.

Met 'n diensknegte-hart het Teresa haar lewe daaraan gewy om die Here Jesus Christus te dien en ander te dien. Sy het 'n Baccalaureus Scientiae-graad in Sosiale Wetenskappe en het vir 17 jaar as 'n adjunkbalju gedien. God het vir haar die Man perfek vir haar gegee toe Hy haar in die huwelik met haar man Chad Taylor aangesluit het. Chad was 'n bron van krag, ondersteuning, aanmoediging en hulp in hul huis, lewe en haar bediening. Hulle het vyf kinders; Crystal ~ ouderdom 31 (3 kleindogters ~ Alexis, Hailey en Payton), Andrea ~ ouderdom 21 (skoonseun Darrell Kidd), Joshua ~ ouderdom 19, David ~ ouderdom 14, en hulle engelbaba Josef (hy het in die baarmoeder gesterf op 3 maande vanaf Trisomie 18). Hulle het ook nie-amptelik twee seuns, Darius en Jeffery, aangeneem. As 'n gesin geniet hulle tuinmaak, kampeer, visvang en geocaching.
