About John 1:1 Ministry

John 1:1 Ministry is an independent non-denominational ministry, a non-profit faith based organization. We are not registered as a 501c3 organization. Our founding fathers of our nation saw the importance of faith based organizations in setting the moral and religious standards for our nation, and they protected it under the First Amendment. Our authority comes from God alone.

We are primarily an online ministry. This allows us to reach out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. We also serve our local community as well as people in need all over the United States and around the globe. We will go where ever there is a need that God calls us to serve.

John 1:1 Ministry and all who call themselves Christian have been given a great calling in
Matthew 28: 18 - 20 "18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are also called to His service to be servants.

Matthew 20:"28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Galations 5:13"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

OUR FAITH

ONE GOD

There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons (John 14:7–16; Genesis 1:1; 1:26–27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28–29; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S SON

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will literally return to earth (Matthew 1:22–23; Isaiah 9:6; 53:5–6; John 1:1–5; 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Timothy 6:14–15; Titus 2:13).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7–13; 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25; Galatians 5:25).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:16).

CREATED MAN’S NEED FOR GOD

Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3–6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1–2; Romans 3:23).

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1).

BAPTISM

Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ’s command (Matthew 3:15–17; Acts 2:38)

BELIEVER’S ACCESS TO GOD

Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16; 7:19; Ephesians 3:12).

THE CHURCH

The Church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:27–29; 1 Corinthians 12:27–29; Ephesians 1:21–23; 3:20–22; 4:1–3; 5:21–27; Colossians 1:17–19).

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us for His purpose, to grow the Kingdom of God that He may be Glorified.

LEADERSHIP

Minister Teresa W Taylor

Minister Teresa Taylor is gewijd en heeft een goede reputatie via Christian Global Outreach Ministries (Minister #104546 verleend). Teresa kent de Heer Jezus Christus al haar hele leven. Teresa adopteerde Jezus Christus als haar Verlosser op 2 augustus 1987. In januari 2021 zei God tegen haar dat ze haar huis op orde moest brengen. Toen ze op 19 februari 2021 zag hoe ze vanaf haar vroegste herinneringen als kind over Jezus was onderwezen, onderbrak God haar en zei haar resoluut: "Niemand heeft het je geleerd, IK HEB JE GEROEPEN!" Na 9 maanden aan haar gewerkt te hebben, liet God haar zien dat Hij haar tot bediening had geroepen. Ze worstelde met zijn roeping omdat haar was geleerd dat vrouwen niet geroepen zijn om dienaars te zijn. God liet haar zien hoe Maria Magdalena, een vrouw, de eerste was die Hij koos om het volledige evangelie van Zijn opstanding te prediken, toen Hij haar in Johannes 20:17 zei dat ze moest 'gaan en vertellen'. God liet haar zien hoe ze al haar jaren Zijn dienaar was geweest, haar eraan herinnerend en aan het licht brengend hoe ze was begonnen en Bijbelstudies en gebedsgroepen had geleid. Hij bracht herinneringen aan het licht van hoe ze predikanten had gediend door bijbelse raad, aanmoediging en gebed. Hij liet haar een oude brief zien die al vele jaren verloren en vergeten was, van een predikant, waarin hij haar bedankte voor de impact die ze had op zijn bediening en gezin, die helemaal tot aan een kerk in India reikte. Hij bracht ook aan het licht hoe ze Hem trouw was geweest in het dienen van Israëls Tempelberg Faithful Movement, maar ook hoe ze plaatselijk had gediend door bijbels te verstrekken aan degenen die er geen hadden. helpen. Met een dienend hart heeft Teresa haar leven gewijd aan het dienen van de Heer Jezus Christus en het dienen van anderen. Ze heeft een Bachelor of Science-graad in sociale wetenschappen en was 17 jaar lang plaatsvervangend sheriff. God gaf haar de Echtgenoot die perfect voor haar was, toen Hij haar huwde met haar echtgenoot Chad Taylor. Chad is een bron van kracht, steun, aanmoediging en hulp geweest in hun huis, leven en haar bediening. Ze hebben vijf kinderen; Crystal ~ 31 jaar (3 kleindochters ~ Alexis, Hailey en Payton), Andrea ~ 21 jaar (schoonzoon Darrell Kidd), Joshua ~ 19 jaar, David ~ 14 jaar, en hun engel baby Joseph (hij stierf in de baarmoeder op 3 maanden na Trisomie 18). Ze hebben ook onofficieel twee zonen geadopteerd, Darius en Jeffery. Als gezin genieten ze van tuinieren, kamperen, vissen en geocachen.
