About John 1:1 Ministry

John 1:1 Ministry is an independent non-denominational ministry, a non-profit faith based organization. We are not registered as a 501c3 organization. Our founding fathers of our nation saw the importance of faith based organizations in setting the moral and religious standards for our nation, and they protected it under the First Amendment. Our authority comes from God alone.

We are primarily an online ministry. This allows us to reach out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. We also serve our local community as well as people in need all over the United States and around the globe. We will go where ever there is a need that God calls us to serve.

John 1:1 Ministry and all who call themselves Christian have been given a great calling in
Matthew 28: 18 - 20 "18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are also called to His service to be servants.

Matthew 20:"28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Galations 5:13"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

OUR FAITH

ONE GOD

There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons (John 14:7–16; Genesis 1:1; 1:26–27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28–29; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S SON

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will literally return to earth (Matthew 1:22–23; Isaiah 9:6; 53:5–6; John 1:1–5; 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Timothy 6:14–15; Titus 2:13).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7–13; 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25; Galatians 5:25).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:16).

CREATED MAN’S NEED FOR GOD

Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3–6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1–2; Romans 3:23).

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1).

BAPTISM

Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ’s command (Matthew 3:15–17; Acts 2:38)

BELIEVER’S ACCESS TO GOD

Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16; 7:19; Ephesians 3:12).

THE CHURCH

The Church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:27–29; 1 Corinthians 12:27–29; Ephesians 1:21–23; 3:20–22; 4:1–3; 5:21–27; Colossians 1:17–19).

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us for His purpose, to grow the Kingdom of God that He may be Glorified.

LEADERSHIP

Minister Teresa W Taylor

Minister Teresa Taylor er ordinert og har god status gjennom Christian Global Outreach Ministries (minister #104546 konferert). Teresa har kjent Herren Jesus Kristus hele livet. Da hun var bare noen måneder gammel mens hun var i bestemorens armer, pekte hun på et maleri og sa "Jesus". Hun ble oppvokst i Brentwood Baptist Church, i High Point. Hun deltok i mange andre kirkesamfunn, inkludert katolske, baptister, metodister, Guds kirke og mer, men anser Shiloh baptistkirke i Ramseur, NC som sitt hjem.

Teresa adopterte Jesus Kristus som sin Frelser 2. august 1987. I januar 2021 ba Gud henne om å få orden på huset hennes. Så den 19. februar 2021, mens hun var vitne til hvordan hun hadde blitt undervist om Jesus fra hennes tidligste minner som barn, avbrøt Gud henne og sa bestemt til henne "Ingen lærte deg, JEG RINGTE DEG!" Etter å ha jobbet med henne i 9 måneder, viste Gud henne at han hadde kalt henne til tjeneste. Hun slet med hans kall fordi hun hadde blitt lært at kvinner ikke ble kalt til å være prester. Gud viste henne hvordan Maria Magdelene, en kvinne, var den første han valgte til å forkynne hele evangeliet om sin oppstandelse, da han ba henne 'gå og fortelle' i Johannes 20:17. Gud viste henne hvordan hun allerede hadde vært hans tjener gjennom alle hennes år, og minnet henne på og brakte frem i lyset hvordan hun hadde startet og ledet bibelstudier og bønnegrupper. Han brakte frem minner om hvordan hun hadde tjent prester gjennom bibelske råd, oppmuntring og bønn. Han viste henne et gammelt brev som hadde gått tapt og glemt i mange år, fra en pastor, og takket henne for innvirkningen hun hadde på hans tjeneste og familie, og nådde helt til en kirke i India. Han brakte også frem i lyset hvordan hun hadde vært trofast mot ham når hun tjente Israels trofaste bevegelse på Tempelhøyden, men også hvordan hun hadde tjent lokalt ved å gi bibler til de som ikke hadde en., og minnet henne om de mange han sendte til henne for å hjelp. Hun tok trofast imot kallet til tjeneste 2. november 2021. Gud ledet henne til å opprette Johannes 1:1-tjenesten fordi han sa at det var der hans tjeneste begynte. Han ledet henne til å opprette tjenesten på nettet for å oppfylle sitt kall i Matteus 28:19-20 "Gå derfor og gjør alle folkeslag til disipler". Hun begynte å jobbe med nettstedet 17. november 2021, og lanserte det 1. desember 2021 som www.John1OneMinistry.com.

Med et tjenerhjerte har Teresa viet livet sitt til å tjene Herren Jesus Kristus og tjene andre. Hun har en bachelorgrad i samfunnsvitenskap og fungerte som nestleder i 17 år. Gud ga henne ektemannen som var perfekt for henne, da han giftet seg med hennes ektemann Chad Taylor. Tsjad har vært en kilde til styrke, støtte, oppmuntring og hjelp i deres hjem, liv og tjeneste. De har fem barn; Crystal ~ 31 år (3 barnebarn ~ Alexis, Hailey og Payton), Andrea ~21 år (svigersønn Darrell Kidd), Joshua ~19 år, David ~ 14 år, og deres engelbaby Joseph (han døde i livmoren 3 måneder etter trisomi 18). De har også uoffisielt adoptert to sønner, Darius og Jeffery. Som familie liker de hagearbeid, camping, fiske og geocaching.
