About John 1:1 Ministry

John 1:1 Ministry is an independent non-denominational ministry, a non-profit faith based organization. We are not registered as a 501c3 organization. Our founding fathers of our nation saw the importance of faith based organizations in setting the moral and religious standards for our nation, and they protected it under the First Amendment. Our authority comes from God alone.

We are primarily an online ministry. This allows us to reach out and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. We also serve our local community as well as people in need all over the United States and around the globe. We will go where ever there is a need that God calls us to serve.

John 1:1 Ministry and all who call themselves Christian have been given a great calling in
Matthew 28: 18 - 20 "18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are also called to His service to be servants.

Matthew 20:"28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Galations 5:13"For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."

OUR FAITH

ONE GOD

There is one God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; who subsist in unity, and also as three separate distinct Persons (John 14:7–16; Genesis 1:1; 1:26–27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 40:28–29; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST, GOD’S SON

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will literally return to earth (Matthew 1:22–23; Isaiah 9:6; 53:5–6; John 1:1–5; 14:10–30; Hebrews 4:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Romans 1:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Timothy 6:14–15; Titus 2:13).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and instructor and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide believers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7–13; 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; 5:25; Galatians 5:25).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life (Psalm 119:105; Romans 15:4; 2 Peter 1:20–21; 2 Timothy 3:16).

CREATED MAN’S NEED FOR GOD

Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sin of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3–6; Isaiah 53:6; 59:1–2; Romans 3:23).

SALVATION

Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1).

BAPTISM

Baptism is by immersion after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ’s command (Matthew 3:15–17; Acts 2:38)

BELIEVER’S ACCESS TO GOD

Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16; 7:19; Ephesians 3:12).

THE CHURCH

The Church is a local body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:27–29; 1 Corinthians 12:27–29; Ephesians 1:21–23; 3:20–22; 4:1–3; 5:21–27; Colossians 1:17–19).

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us for His purpose, to grow the Kingdom of God that He may be Glorified.

LEADERSHIP

Minister Teresa W Taylor

Minister Teresa Taylor är ordinerad och i gott anseende genom Christian Global Outreach Ministries (minister #104546 Konfererad). Teresa har känt Herren Jesus Kristus hela sitt liv. När hon bara var några månader gammal i sin mormors famn pekade hon på en tavla och sa "Jesus". Hon växte upp i Brentwood Baptist Church i High Point. Hon gick i många andra konfessionella kyrkor, inklusive katolska, baptister, metodister, Guds kyrka och mer, men anser Shiloh Baptist Church i Ramseur, NC som sitt hem.

Teresa adopterade Jesus Kristus som sin Frälsare den 2 augusti 1987. I januari 2021 sa Gud åt henne att få ordning på hennes hus. Sedan den 19 februari 2021, när hon bevittnade hur hon hade blivit undervisad om Jesus från sina tidigaste minnen som barn, avbröt Gud henne och sa bestämt till henne "Ingen lärde dig, JAG RINGADE DIG!" Efter att ha arbetat med henne i 9 månader visade Gud henne att han hade kallat henne till tjänst. Hon kämpade med hans kallelse eftersom hon hade fått lära sig att kvinnor inte var kallade att vara predikanter. Gud visade henne hur Maria Magdelena, en kvinna, var den första han valde att predika hela evangeliet om sin uppståndelse, när han sa åt henne att "gå och berätta" i Johannes 20:17. Gud visade henne hur hon redan hade varit hans tjänare under alla sina år, påminde henne och förde fram i ljuset hur hon hade startat och lett bibelstudier och bönegrupper. Han förde fram minnen av hur hon hade tjänat predikanter genom bibliska råd, uppmuntran och bön. Han visade henne ett gammalt brev som hade gått förlorat och glömt i många år, från en pastor, och tackade henne för den inverkan hon hade på hans tjänst och familj, som nådde hela vägen till en kyrka i Indien. Han förde också fram i ljuset hur hon hade varit honom trogen när hon tjänade Israels trogna rörelse på Tempelberget, men också hur hon hade tjänat lokalt för att tillhandahålla biblar till dem som inte hade en, och påminde henne om de många han skickade till henne för att hjälp. Hon tog troget emot sin kallelse till tjänst den 2 november 2021. Gud ledde henne att skapa Johannes 1:1-tjänst eftersom han sa att det var där hans tjänst började. Han ledde henne att skapa tjänsten online för att uppfylla sitt kall i Matteus 28:19-20 "Gå därför och gör alla folk till lärjungar". Hon började arbeta på webbplatsen 17 november 2021 och lanserade den 1 december 2021 som www.John1OneMinistry.com.

Med ett tjänares hjärta har Teresa ägnat sitt liv åt att tjäna Herren Jesus Kristus och tjäna andra. Hon har en kandidatexamen i samhällsvetenskap och tjänstgjorde som biträdande sheriff i 17 år. Gud gav henne Maken perfekt för henne, när han förenade henne i äktenskapet med hennes man Chad Taylor. Tchad har varit en källa till styrka, stöd, uppmuntran och hjälp i deras hem, liv och hennes tjänst. De har fem barn; Crystal ~31 år (3 barnbarn ~ Alexis, Hailey och Payton), Andrea ~21 år (svärson Darrell Kidd), Joshua ~19 år, David ~ 14 år, och deras ängelbebis Joseph (han dog i livmodern vid 3 månader från Trisomi 18). De har också inofficiellt adopterat två söner, Darius och Jeffery. Som familj tycker de om trädgårdsarbete, camping, fiske och geocaching.
